Supporting senior women
through menopause
and beyond
For many women in the workplace, getting to a senior position coincides with the onset of menopause.
So, just when the demands on your energy and performance are peaking, you find your drive and talents are being undermined by menopausal symptoms.
This obviously impacts businesses - which need to retain experienced, high performing female leaders, but have to reckon with up to a quarter of them either considering or actually leaving work*.
The Second Spring mindset
Our Second Spring Leaders programme is designed to support women - and their employers - through this life stage, whether you are approaching menopause, experiencing its effects, or leaving it in the past.

Borrowing from Eastern philosophy, the Second Spring frames menopause as a time of renewal and empowerment. It is celebrated as a new beginning, an opportunity for women to bring their accumulated experience and wisdom to the fore.

This challenges the prevailing Western perception that women are somehow past their peak at this stage in life - because we reject the notion that the biology of half the workforce makes them prone to under-performing once they pass a particular age!
A 'whole person' approach
Our programme addresses the impacts of menopause on your mind, your body, and your work and home environment. And it gives you the resources to thrive, not just survive, through this transition.

The workshops deal equally with professional development and personal wellbeing - because no-one should have to choose between career and self-care.
Second Spring Leaders works across both, using a blend of coaching and mentoring techniques with breathwork and yoga.

The Second Spring Leaders programme
We run standalone masterclasses and workshops, as well as providing ongoing support for individual women and small groups.
Every aspect of the programme is aimed at equipping you with the knowledge, understanding, strategies and techniques to embark on your Second Spring with assurance and optimism.
